Once we think we know, something else is revealed that makes us question what we thought. Nothing is as it seems on the surface. The movie is well acted and filmed, and there is really nothing overly gratuitous in it.
The ending is questionable. Some liked it, others didn't. It is worth the 90 minutes of your time.
Not really something for kids under I don't watch to many horror films any more but the preview for this movie looked original, plus I'm a Stephen Lang fan so I decided to buy it.
I won't say anything about the film itself except that the premise is very original and it has lots of good twists and turns.
My buddy and I watched this blu-ray together and I was able to predict a few, " Each time, for example the dog and the crawl space, just made it better and better.
Although I did have a much better ending, that several people agreed would have made this truely great. But watch it. It's a terrific little film and Stephen Lang gives an unforgettable performance.
I'm not normally into horror films, but this one is alright. It extremely tense and had my heart racing for the majority of the film.
The antagonist is downright terrifying and the use of sound or sometimes the lack of it in this film only amplifies that fear.
It still does still fall victim to a few of the bad horror movie tropes, particularly the ending. Also, it is particularly graphic and dark at times.
As is the case with most horror films, it's probably not for everyone, which would normally include me, but this time I enjoyed it.
The film kept me excited and my adrenaline pumping for the whole 90 minutes. If you like horror, this one is probably worth your time.
Watch it, or don't. Do what you want. I just wanted to see it because Stephen Lang was in it, and he did not disappoint. I'm not normally a fan of thriller type movies, but this one was done very well.
I was at a loss for who to cheer for at the end, but it did not take away from the enjoyment of the ride. Also, the ending seemed to leave an opening for a squeal.
